However I recently had very bad experience with the scheduling team. I always have very good experience with University Radiology. Would not recommend them for mammograms at all until some education is done at the facility. I left there still upset even though relieved to know mammogram was normal. The response was “everyone makes mistakes“. I asked if they would be educating the technicians that made the mistake and had me upset for weeks. Came back to me saying they weren’t charging for me for this mammogram because the screening wasn’t done correctly. The technician said one film was enough and she was going to speak to the radiologist. I was questioned as to whether the prior techn icians I had placed stickies on my moles and remembered that they didn’t. One tech this time did one long mammogram and stickies were put on my moles near my breast. Drove to my appointment on the 30th in tears. I kept the information to myself through the Christmas holidays. I have had breast cancer in the past and was quite upset to hear the news. I was told by my primary that a Nodule was found. I hope that by doing this, I let other women know-just like I found out-that there is an alternative.I had a screening mammogram in early December by Two technicians and was called back for a diagnostic later on in the month. Who pray they have not messed up their seat at work or messed up the back of their pants or their nice skirt when they go out to dinner or they go to church. “Women who are afraid to wear white pants and who feel a gush of blood flowing every time they get up from their seat. “I’m hoping that I can use this platform to let other women know about UFE,” Carmen emphasized. After resting for four days, she was back at work a week after the procedure. For Carmen, deciding to get UFE was the best decision for her. After searching for alternatives and getting nowhere, Carmen finally learned about uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) from an acquaintance who also suffered from fibroids. Not able to tolerate it any longer, she began to explore fibroid treatments. Carmen admitted having to wear a super absorbency tampon, two ultra absorbency maxi-pads, a Depend® adult diaper, and Spanks® to hold it all together. Within a few years, Carmen started to develop serious symptoms like heavy, long, painful periods. While visiting her gynecologist to remove an ovarian cyst, she also found out she had fibroids. Like many women, Carmen discovered she had fibroids accidentally.
